Lacing up the boots

Azari took notice of Lani's little ticks, running her fingers through her hair and the look in her eyes. He'd seen it before a long time ago at college. He wanted to complete his work, he felt that compulsion for him to 'solve the puzzle'. "No like you said i made a commitment." Azari said shutting everything down after saving his work. He quickly stacked up his notes and set them aside and grabbed his arm to place back over his appendage.

"i'll apologize when we get there." He said knowing it was deserved.

OOC: Figure this sort of thing happens a few more times. how ya been? having decent weather i hope

OOC: hope you've been doing well. I didn't want to post anything to prompt you to respond. Especially if things are stressful in your personal life or if you have some burnout. We both know I'm far more guilty of that . Just wanted to reach out, say hey and hope you're doing well.

Hey. I am so sorry. This summer has just been crazy . I didn’t mean to just disappear like that. I do want to continue to post. Do you mind if we just start a new thread? I feel like the momentum on this one has been lost.

No worries at all! It's supposed to be fun after all and i'd have to agree that this summer has been rather crazy. I'm more than willing to take a break on this thread, try out other ideas and the like. I would agree the current momentum is a bit slow, probably should have summed up the evening and moved on

Any ideas on what you would like to do next?

Well we could continue on with issues growing between Lani and Azari. thought of a lab experiment goes wrong and Lani has to save Azari, the avengers could be called in for that. We still have the evil mutants but i haven't been thinking too much with them.

Been trying to read a few comics and watching some movies/tv for more ideas too lol but my sister has gotten me reading harry potter again so my attention has been diverted to that a bit

We could try the lab experiment gone wrong. At some point I do want to have something happen to Lani. The other big thing we have is Kylie’s death.

What did you have in mind for Lani? anything in particular or just something in general?

No I don’t have anything specific in mind at this point. Perhaps something that happens during a fight .

I will get a post up here in a couple of days for the next bit and will think of a fight for Lani to help out
